For almost 10 years I have worked at cleveland.com as the Technical Manager/Producer.
Previous to that, I worked for Bowne of Cleveland formatting filings for the SEC.
My roll at cleveland.com has evolved during my time there. When I first started the
web site was coded entirely by hand, one page or story at a time... now-a-days, the site,
as is much of the Internet is now database and xml driven. Over the years I have taken on many
responsibilities for the organization, including various design duties, network maintenance & administration,
research & development to name a few. Now I over see the health of all the electronic equipment at cleveland.com,
as well as coordinate any technical issues locally with our corporate home office in NJ. I still help add/code
new sections to the web site, as well as trouble shoot problems with code or other technical issues.
I am also the main multimedia (audio/video/etc) production editor for the site.
Each day brings something new to do, learn and add to my knowledge base. If you take a look
at any part of the web site, I probably have some sort of hand in making it work.
I also freelance... (where it doesn't conflict with cleve.com interests). As a free lancer, I have
done photography, web site design & programming. I have worked for quite a few not-for-profit
sites, as well as other more lucrative clients. Below is a small sampling of sites I have worked on.
Besides doing tech or web work, I am also an artist, and have made commissioned pieces.
You can check out my pieces in the "artistic" section.
